1. On Thursday after my last day of work, your daddy and I went out to eat at a Thai food restaurant and I ordered some spicy Pad Thai. But it didn't bring you out.
3. Mommy and daddy time out time. :) Nope you didn't come.

5. Acupuncture- I went and had a session with an acupuncturist yesterday. It was interesting but very relaxing. It is supposed to help bring on labor. I laid down on a table that looked like it was made for a massage, then she cleaned the spots she wanted to focus on. Then she placed these long, teeny tiny needles into different points on my body, including my feet, in between my toes, hands, elbows and knees. Then I laid there for a good hour and thankfully fell asleep (I haven't been getting much sleep lately.) Then she came back in and took them all out. So we'll see if that helps!
6. Stripping of membranes- We went into our doctor yesterday for help, I have developed a pregnancy induced rash called: PUPPP, it comes in the last weeks of pregnancy, is common for first time moms and usually occurs in when carrying bigger babies. I first got it just on my lower belly. I thought it was just stretch marks at first but when it kept itching incessantly, I figured it had to be something else. I sent pictures to my doctor and she predicted I had PUPPP. Then I went in to see her a few days later and she confirmed it. Well then on the following Sunday, your daddy, YaYa and I went to the Curby's to lay by the pool. Thinking the sun would help my skin and the cool water would feel good. Well ever since then the rash has spread onto my entire body. It is pretty awful, but mommy keeps thinking of you. I want to do the best for you, I want to be selfless for you. Mommy would be so happy if you came! So Dr. Swenson took one look at my rash and confirmed that it was really bad. She agreed to sweep my membranes during a cervical exam to help bring you out. She said I was 3 cm dilated, 70% effaced and you were in the -1 position. So my progress is really great, we just need another push or two to get going in labor. C'mon little girl!!!! We are so excited to meet you, without a doubt this is all worth it because I will see your sweet face. I love you more than anything in the world and am ready to be your mommy.
7. Walking- your YaYa and I went on a 5 mile walk on the Thursday before you were born then daddy and I went on a 2 mile walk around the mall that same day. I was ready for you to arrive! I even gave myself a blister.
8. Birth ball- I would bounce on my birth ball at least a little bit every day.
Who knows what worked but you made your arrival on Saturday, May 3rd!!
Love you Halen Rae Carol!!!!!
